Where is the actual orange flavoring? I don’t even see that mentioned. Ingredients: Carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup and/or sugar, citric acid, sodium benzoate (preservative), food starch-modified, natural flavors, caffeine, glycerol ester of wood rosin, ascorbic acid (preservative), yellow 6, red 40. I checked out the ingredients of a popular orange flavored soda and found this… I can pronounce them and there are no questionable additives. The Sparkling Fruit Juices do contain 20 grams of sugar but I assume that is from the fruit juice since no sugar is added.
The ingredients are rather simple is you ask me. I checked out the ingredients and I do not see sugar or a sugar like product listed in the ingredients. Juicy Juice Sparkling Fruit Juice contains 70% real fruit juice, 30% water and each can equals one fruit serving. The Apple, of course, tasted just like Apple Juice, except it was bubbly like soda. The Orange tasted exactly like Orange soda, except this was Orange Juice. My kids never gave me a chance to try out Berry. I personally tried a few sips of Apple and Orange.
Juicy Juice sent me a few samples for my kids to try. As far as my kids are concerned it’s soda. Juicy Juice has came out with a new product line called Juicy Juice Sparkling Fruit Juice. They also don’t need those empty calories that have no nutritional value whatsoever. I don’t think they need to fill up on sugary sweet soda. When they are at home they drink water, milk and fruit juices that are made with 100% fruit juice (or close to it). I don’t allow my kids to drink soda with the exception of friend’s houses, birthday parties or if we eat out. Three cheers to Juicy Juice! They came out with a new product called Juicy Juice Sparkling Fruit Juice that is sure to be a hit with ‘tweens and teens and even adults too.
